Sugar and Alzheimer? – Health Tips With Jun

Hey everyone! How’s everybody doing?

An interesting article came across my way today and I wanted to share it with all of you. I know especially now staying healthy is super important, and this article has some helpful information on long term health.

Before we begin though, please keep in mind that I am not a medical professional in any way (I’m just 17!) so the information I’m about to share with you is not professional medical advice like that coming from a doctor.

Anyways, what the article essentially states is that new research has found that higher levels of blood sugar has been linked to Alzheimer’s disease.

I know: I love sugary treats and drinks as much as you—if not even more. Right now with the global pandemic, it seems like there’s so many things that we have to be careful about, and watch out for and I know it’s tough. However, I’ve even decided myself to slowly cut down on the amount of sugar I eat daily. For me that means no sugar in my coffee (harsh, I know!)
