The Animals of Pittsburg State Univ.

Hey! My name is Max and today I’ll quickly be sharing some animals that I work with. Just a short post for today, but more in depth stuff to come soon.

opossum

This is Matilda the Virginia opossum. She is very territorial, and tries to bite my ankles whenever I walk past her. She loves collard green stems, which she is eating in the picture.

This is stinky, the turkey vulture. She is territorial and tries to bite me whenever I go into her cage. She calms down when I give her a rat though.

Finally, there’s Hootie the great horned owl. He is pretty scared of people so he just sits quietly when I am around.

Stay tuned for part 2! Let me know if there’s any other animals you want to see and which one was your favorite.
